units Variable hours per week Prerequisite(s): Admission into Psychology MA program and Permission of Instructor This course involves independent research on an appropriate topic within psychology that is supervised by a faculty advisor. In this course, students will: prepare a thesis proposal that reviews relevant literature; formulate one or more research questions and hypotheses; design a study to examine the research questions; collect and analyze data; and defend their final thesis before a panel of faculty members selected in consultation with the thesis chair. This course is intended to be taken twice. Repeat 3 times up to 9 units
