Qualitative Research Methods

Catalog description

Three hours seminar per week Prerequisite(s): Admission into Psychology, M.A. program or Consent of Instructor Graduate seminar that examines qualitative research design and methodologies. Topics include narrative research, observational studies (naturalistic and laboratory), phenomenological research, grounded theory, ethnographic research, case study design, and focus group analyses. Students will develop a proposal for a qualitative research study.
