Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing Introduces learners to many aspects of autism spectrum disorders, including etiology, diagnosis, assessment, evidence-based interventions, and best practices from a psychological, behavioral, and school-based perspective. Current issues related to services and career options in the field will be explored. Students will develop skills for working with children and adults with autism spectrum disorders in multiple contexts.
