Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Recommended: POLS 150 Explores the politics of neurodiversity in the context of contemporary democracy. Focal points of the course include the evolution of disability policy towards and beyond a rights basis, the changing identification and lived experience of neurodivergence, intersectional aspects of neurodiversity, and contemporary public challenges involving neurodiversity and neuroinclusion. In the spirit of neuroinclusion, this course is taught using a high-flex approach.
