Variable hours per week Prerequisite(s): NRS 500 and NRS 502 and NRS 504 ; or Consent of Instructor Application of advanced practice nursing knowledge and skills in healthcare setting. Emphasis on integrating core advanced practice knowledge in pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical assessment in provision of nursing care to target population. Operationalization of theoretical concepts in quality improvement, evidenced-based practice, teamwork and collaboration, informatics, leadership, and patient safety to address health needs of selected population.
