Laboratory and Clinical Procedures for Advanced Practice

Catalog description

Three hours lab per week Prerequisite(s): NRS 500 and NRS 502 and NRS 504 with grades of C or better Provides foundational knowledge of multifaceted role of Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in primary care setting by addressing selected advanced practice procedures diagnostic competencies, procedures, and test analysis of APN as member of multidisciplinary healthcare team. A mandatory face-to-face, one-week session is required, which will be held at California State University Channel Islands campus.
