Cultural Competence in Health Care

Catalog description

Two hours lecture and four hours field studies per week Study of culturally competent care for students who will work with health care consumers. Assists student to utilize an inter-cultural competency model (e.g. Campinha-Bacote model) to work with diverse populations with health care needs.
