Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (1A, 1B, 1C, 2) Recommended: NAS 100 or any lower division NAS course This course explores Indigenous cultures across the United States and Canada with a focus on food sovereignty, environmental interactions, traditional practices, and sustainability. The course will introduce diverse Indigenous communities from various regions, highlighting their food systems, traditions, and resilience.
