Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): MIS 322 This course explores the methods and best practices for responding to cybersecurity incidents and conducting cyber investigations within business and government environments. Topics include incident response frameworks, digital evidence collection, forensic analysis, reporting procedures, and legal and ethical considerations. Students learn to design and implement response plans that protect business operations and ensure regulatory compliance. Hands-on labs and simulations provide applied experience in identifying, documenting, and mitigating cybersecurity incidents.
