Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): MIS 322 This course examines the strategic role of information systems planning and policy in modern organizations. Students will analyze how businesses align IT strategy with corporate objectives, develop and implement governance frameworks, and manage risk through effective policy design. Topics include enterprise systems planning, data governance, IT audit principles, regulatory compliance, and ethical and legal issues surrounding cybersecurity and privacy. Case studies emphasize policy development and strategic decision-making in both public and private sectors.
