Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): MHA 500 Course examines the provision of resources for the delivery of public health services and the application of economic theories to health policy issues; organizational characteristics and their interaction with economic forces and fiscal policy to influence the performance of public health systems; and other topics such as methods of economic evaluation and their usefulness in determining appropriate financing of healthcare organizations.
