Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Acceptance to Master’s in Healthcare Administration with Graduate Certificate in Gerontology Provides an overview of the historical, current and future context and forces that have shaped the U.S. healthcare system’s evolution, including healthcare delivery, policy and the patient/consumer experience. Examines the interaction among people, resources, delivery systems and built environment using perspectives, tools and strategies from multiple disciplines to evaluate strengths, gaps, and opportunities for system improvements.
