Three hours lecture per week Examines the origins of American constitutional thought and practice, the framing and adoption of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the establishment of the U.S. Supreme Court and of its power of judicial review. Topics include: major decisions by the Supreme Court in history and their impacts on society, and California state constitution and government. Graduation Requirement(s): U.S. History
