Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): GERO 500 Exploration of interventions focused on person-centered assessment and case management practice for older adults, their families and caregivers. Conditions that affect service delivery and systems approach. Development of assessment, case management and intervention skills, as well as diagnostic tools specific for older populations in a variety of settings. Emphasis on evidence-based practices that enhance quality of life, dignity, and independent functioning.
