Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): MHA 500 Examines the biological, psychological, sociocultural, economic, and geopolitical factors impacting older adults and the process of aging both at the micro- and macro-levels. Emphasis is placed on exploring diverse theories on aging, applying theory in understanding the lived experiences of older adults, and crafting innovative solutions to diverse elder issues to provide more equitable services and promote more equitable outcomes among older adults.
