Three hours lecture and three hours lab per week Focuses upon the geological history of the Earth and the Solar System from the origin of the cosmos to the present, tracing the evolution of the continents and ocean basins, and the evolution of plants and animals, through time. Surveys events of relevance in Earth’s past to present environmental issues.
