Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Explores how the concepts of freedom and justice have been construed across different cultures and time periods using a comparative approach. Students will gain a foundation in the theoretical frameworks related to freedom and justice by analyzing their use in social justice movements across different cultural contexts. Students will use these analyses to reflect on their own beliefs and practices.
