Professional Seminar in School Counseling

Three hours seminar per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to School Counseling, M.S. and Pupil Personnel Services Credential Program Culminating experience for students completing the School Counseling, M.S. and Pupil Personnel Services Credential. Candidates develop a professional portfolio representing the work completed that aligns with the program and student learning outcomes and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing standards that is derived from coursework, the practicum, and the school counseling internship hours. Students will reflect on a wide range of professional activities in order to evaluate and appreciate developed professional and personal strengths, while being ready to identify areas of their work that require further development.
