Consultation with Families and Teachers for School Counselors

Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to School Counseling, M.S. and Pupil Personnel Services Credential Program Addresses indirect services to children or adolescents through effective consultation and collaboration with parents, teachers, administrators, and community resources. Focuses on a multiculturally-oriented perspective to analyze current consultation models and theories, trends in the literature, and infusing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) as a form of social justice advocacy.
