Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Master of Arts in Education Leadership or Preliminary Administrative Services Description: This course will focus on the political, social, economic, legal, and cultural contexts in which schools function and the important role education policy plays in shaping the learning experiences of students, staff, families, and the larger school community. The important role that administrators play as spokespersons for the schools accomplishments and needs will also be explored.
