One hour seminar per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and/or Preliminary Administrative Services Credential program Program standards developed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) require that candidates seeking the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential participate in administrative field experiences that are designed to facilitate the application of theoretical concepts in authentic settings. Administrative field experiences are considered essential for the development of each candidate. Field experiences include a variety of diverse and realistic settings, both in the day-to-day functions of administrators and in the long-term policy design and implementation. This seminar will prepare students for field-based experiences and assessments. Repeat 4 times up to 4 units.
