Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Acceptance in a Masters in Education Program and Consent of Instructor Examines and conducts field research collaborating with families and communities. Special emphasis on the connections among families, young children, and the educational programs families have access to. Emphasis on the Funds of Knowledge of immigrant families and first and second generation immigrant learners in California communities.
