Three hours seminar per week Prerequisite(s): Admission into the MA in Curriculum & Instruction or consent of instructor Recommended: EDCI 615 or equivalent The purpose of this course is to introduce students to action research as a method of improving teaching and learning for the thesis culminating experience option. Students will gain hands-on experience conducting research in their own classrooms. The course will explore the strengths and challenges of different approaches to classroom research. All students will be trained on how to ethically conduct research involving human subjects.
