Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to CI’s MA in Curriculum & Instruction or consent of instructor. This course is designed to familiarize students with various concepts, principles, methods, and theories of curriculum. Course topics, readings, and assignments will enable students to synthesize and analyze different conceptions and approaches to curriculum across diverse social and cultural contexts and impacts on teaching and learning. Students have opportunities to develop, evaluate, and/or critique different examples of curriculum.
