Variable hours field of studies per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to the ITEP-PK-3 Credential Program, Senior standing and ENGL 330 , ECS 450 , ECS 455 , ECS 476 Clinical early childhood student teaching experience in K, 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade classrooms (K-3 bilingual classrooms if seeking bilingual authorization) under the supervision of a mentor teacher and a university student teacher supervisor focusing on teaching performance expectations. Involves development, application, practice and reflection of teaching curriculum and assessment strategies in culturally diverse classrooms in public schools. Involves practicing the state teaching performance assessment exam. Program permission required.
