Variable hours per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to the ITEP-PK-3 Credential Program, Senior standing and MATH 308, ECS 355, ECS 360, ECS 351, ECS 341 Clinical early childhood student teaching experience in prekindergarten (PK) or transitional kindergarten (TK) classrooms (PK/TK bilingual classrooms if seeking bilingual authorization) under the supervision of a mentor teacher and a university student teacher supervisor focusing on teaching performance expectations. Involves development, application, practice and reflection of teaching curriculum and assessment strategies in culturally diverse classrooms in public schools or Head Start centers. Involves practicing the state teaching performance assessment exam. Program permission required. Students must complete field site requirements such as a Negative TB Skin Test (less than a year old), immunization record, Live scan finger
