Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Senior standing Recommended: Recommended prerequisite ECS 221. Students will focus on the interrelated relationships among families, communities, and educational programs from a global perspective. Using the funds of knowledge perspective as a lens, students will discuss topics that include family, schools, and community partnerships as well as family literacy and resources. This is a service-learning course.
