Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): DATA 300 - Introduction to Data Management DATA 213 and MATH 352 or MATH 353 An introduction to several statistical computing techniques with modern statistical packages. Topics will include simulation studies, generating random variables, Monte Carlo methods, Bootstrapping, randomization tests, power analysis, and cross-validation.
