Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing In this writing-intensive course, students will explore the societal impacts of developing and implementing mathematical models for the use of artificial intelligence and data science. Students will learn how to plan, write, and revise a written report detailing the impacts of these models. Special consideration will be given to how these models impact vulnerable populations and the Global South.
