Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): DATA 200 Students will learn how to responsibly design studies, carry out reproducible analyses, and communicate findings. This class will provide a holistic approach to statistical modeling as a tool in the scientific process, with an understanding of the impact of sampling scheme, study type, and modeling decisions. A major focus of this course will be linear and generalized linear regression analysis from an applied focus for both inference and prediction.
