Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): CHS 100 or CHS 160 or CHS 200 Introduces interdisciplinary research methods in Chicana/o Studies. Emphasizes oral history, testimonio , counterstorytelling, and participatory action research grounded in critical race, feminist, decolonial, and postcolonial theories. Students design and conduct research proposals that link scholarship, community, and social justice. Formerly CHS 430. Repeat 2 times up to 6 units
