Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing This course introduces students to the theory and practice of science communication. Through modules on scientific reading, scientific writing, oral presentation, and alternative forms of science communication, students learn to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Emphasis is placed on active participation in lectures, workshops, and discussions; collaborative feedback and revision; and reflective self-assessment. Students will develop a portfolio showcasing their ability to communicate science with clarity, creativity, and purpose across multiple formats.
