Catalog description

Two hours lecture and two hours activity per week Prerequisite(s): ARTH 360 or Consent of Instructor Recommended: Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Introduces a wide range of tools; roles and duties; and tasks and practices associated with digital art history research projects. Topics include identifying the shape of data; creating a vocabulary index; and collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data. Students will explore and test digital tools and modes of assessing data through the development of a digital art history project. Repeat 2 times up to 6 units
