Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of ARTH 203 or ARTH 300. The course examines diverse expressions of seventeenth century European Baroque Art within different regions including Italy, Spain, and northern Europe. The study of transatlantic visual and material culture investigates the impacts of European colonialism on the Americas, and the interconnections with Asian and African visual and material culture.
