Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Junior standing An investigation into the historical and contemporary roles of women as artists and artistic subjects. Course materials, assignments, and discussions will explore diverse artists and artworks from interdisciplinary perspectives encompassing art history, cultural, social and gender studies, and history.
