Capstone I: Design & Research

Catalog description

This first course in the Theatre Arts senior capstone sequence emphasizes research, conceptual development, and planning for the culminating Theatre Arts project. Students identify a performance, design, or research-based project; conduct scholarly and contextual investigation; and articulate a unifying artistic vision and theological framework. The course culminates in a formal proposal and preproduction portfolio that lay the groundwork for the student’s final project in Capstone II.
