This project-based college course, Pre-visualization and Fundamentals of Stagecraft, focuses on translating theatrical design concepts into practical execution through hands-on skill-building. Students will master industry standards for design documentation, including creating accurate ground plans, sections, and elevations using hand-drafting, alongside building scale production models. The course also covers foundational stagecraft, including an in-depth study of scenic painting techniques, scenic materials, specialized rigging hardware and construction methods.
