Voice and Diction for Actors

Catalog description

This course focuses on freeing and strengthening an actor's voice for expressiveness in performance. It will develop the voice through a focus on awareness of inner space, alignment, breath, resonance, and articulation. Students will learn the International Phonetic Alphabet in preparation for beginning stage dialect work.
