The study of the nature, development, organization, function, and methods of political parties. Also designed to furnish an understanding of the pluralist nature of the American system through the dynamics of group action and their methods and impact. Additionally, the course provides an opportunity to travel domestically; students registered in this section will apply course concepts learned during the semester within a domestic setting.
