Catalog description

This course will include instruction in the following areas covering the K-8 California Standards: critical thinking, sets, systems of numeration, number theory, the real number system, two- and three-dimensional geometry, representational systems, methods for determining measurement, statistics, data analysis, and probability. Students will analyze complex problems, apply logical reasoning techniques, evaluate the truth of mathematical statements, and apply different solution strategies.
