Catalog description

An introduction to physical activity theory, motor learning theory, and physical activity. Students will be introduced to nontraditional and traditional sport history, skills, rules, and progression of teaching skills to promote physical activity. Emphasis is on demonstrating mastery in specific sport skills, instruction, and assessment. Course designed to meet California Teacher Credentialing subject matter requirements.
