Catalog description

This course is a survey of English history since the Glorious Revolution in 1688. Special attention is given to political developments after the Glorious revolution, the expansion of British colonialism, industrialization and social change, religious movements within England and its colonies, and the impact of decolonization in the twentieth century. Additionally, the course provides an opportunity to travel globally; students registered in this section will apply course concepts learned during the semester within a global setting.
