Catalog description

In this beginning level course, students will learn basic reading and writing skills with a focus on vocabulary, reading comprehension, English grammar and sentence structure. By the end of the course, students will be able to read and understand short academic texts and stories and will be able to write short paragraphs using simple, compound, and complex sentences.
