Catalog description

This enrichment discussion laboratory course, designed to be taken concurrently with ENG 463 - Language Structure and Acquisition, offers review and hands-on instruction in English language conventions, including parts of speech, syntactic components, and sentence variety. It covers the recognition, understanding, and use a range of conventions in both spoken and written English, including varieties of sentence structure, preferred usage, and conventions of spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. This class satisfies partial requirements for elementary education subject matter training.
