Intro to CreativeWrit Domestic

Catalog description

This course introduces the creative writer to the literary genres of poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, and drama and to the writing workshop. Students will read examples in each genre to analyze and apply elements of form, technique, and meaning. The course is designed to help students develop a writing voice and practice in each of the major genres. Additionally, the course provides an opportunity to travel domestically; students registered in this section will apply course concepts learned during the semester within a local and/or national setting.
