Catalog description

This course will focus on the basic aspects of effective collaboration between special education professionals and others involved in the education and care of individuals with disabilities, including parents and family members across the PK-6 continuum. Candidates will examine methods for effective team building, knowledge of community resources, and advocacy. In addition, candidates will be introduced to the Individualized Family Service Plan and the Individualized Education Program.
