Clinical Pract Vascular III

Catalog description

This course requires 480 clock hours of clinical experience in the discipline of general vascular sonography. This course is a continuation of DMS 425 Clinical Practice -General Vascular II, with an emphasis on advanced practice of vascular sonography. Students will review, evaluate, and scan a variety of patient exams including general abdomen, Ob-Gyn, and vascular. Students will demonstrate mastery in general vascular sonography and be able to identify and differentiate between normal and pathological exams. Four hundred eighty (480) clinical hours are required. Meets CAAHEP-DMS Standards.
