Catalog description
Clinical experience in the on-campus supervised clinic. Principles and techniques for local anesthesia injections and nitrous oxide-oxygen analgesia administration, neurophysiologic considerations, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology of local anesthetic agents, prevention of anesthesia-associated emergencies and application of techniques in laboratory. Also included in this course is the study and administration of nitrous oxide sedation used in dentistry.
