Catalog description

Clinical experience in the on-campus supervised clinic. This is the second in a series of four courses designed to prepare the student for the clinical dental hygiene process of care. This course provides clinical experience in the treatment of child and adult patients. Various skills will be used in the development of clinical competency and ethical evidence-based decision making in rendering comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health services and technologies.
