Preclinical experience in the on-campus supervised clinic. This is the first in a series of four courses designed to prepare the student for the clinical dental hygiene process of care. This course encompasses clinical and laboratory application of introductory skills essential to rendering oral health services to patients, with emphasis on basic dental hygiene instrumentation and ergonomics.
